This project was based on a batch of 45s I found in Louisville a couple years ago. Nothing super rare, but some things I didn't have. A lot of these records reminded me of ideas that never came to fruition on previous releases.

Most of this 10 minute track is pretty linear, save for the opening 16 bars, which is a pretty well known break. I'd never seen it on a 45 before.

There are several nods to other DJs (not really Easter eggs, because they're not hidden) packed into these 10 minutes:
DJ Kenny K (Digital Underground affiliate from Tampa - he would always do a "Bring the Noise" / "I Got Da Feelin'" blend and quick mix live on the air, WMNF 88.5 - I did this minimally by bringing in the horns kind of low underneath the drums)
DJ Woody Wood (Cuts on "From Da Giddy Up")
DJ Akshun (Cuts from "C'mon Let's Move It")
Eric B. (Cuts from "I Know You Got Soul")
DJ Wiz (Flipped the hook from "Damn that DJ" and added some extra scratches, but with a different stab)
Prince Paul ("Funky Drummer" cuts from "Sally")

There's more I could mention, but it's all in there.
